Tap

Tap dance was developed in the USA during the 19th century.  The name Tap comes from the tapping sound made when the metal plates on the tap shoe connects with the hard surface of the floor.  This lively, rhythmic dance makes the performer not just a dancer but somewhat of a percussionist as well.  Precise, rhythmical patterns of foot movement and tapping will be taught.
